It is clear to see the impact COVID-19 is having, and will continue to have, on people’s wellbeing and mental health, especially for those with an existing mental health diagnosis. Unfortunately, the number of people who are suffering with their mental health as a result of the virus is only predicted to rise.
As a mental health support provider, we want to do all we can to support people during this difficult time.
Mental Health Awareness week is right around the corner and to help bring our Northern Healthcare family together and spread some cheer whilst we battle the coronavirus, our residents and team members recorded their own renditions of Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds in the hope of raising funds for The Mental Health Foundation.
We know there is a long way to go, but we hope our residents helped to brighten your day, if you would like to donate to a cause which is so close to our hearts please visit: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/northern-healthcare-2020
