Each year our teams and residents show their support for local communities and charities in a number of different ways. During the run-up to the festive period, Northern Healthcare Head Office partnered with Trafford South Foodbank and started a campaign among our services to collect food and toiletries to help our communities at this difficult time.
The first collection of donations was delivered at the end of November and our team were delighted to hear that a representative of Trafford South Foodbank conveyed their gratitude to all involved for their generosity and kindness.
Ashley Mancey-Johnson, Managing Director for Northern Healthcare commented: “I am always so humbled by how our teams and residents pull together to support causes close to our hearts. Food banks are so vitally important, they are often a lifeline for individuals and families in crisis; not only providing vital supplies, but also additional resources and support. A huge thank you to our team members and residents for their generous donations.”
Northern Healthcare has already started collecting more supplies for a second delivery to the food bank in time for Christmas, they are aiming to donate even more and are focusing their efforts to donate the specific items Trafford South Foodbank are in desperate need of. Well done to all!
