The team at Holland House welcomed professional musician Antony Ellis for an afternoon of singing and dancing to help raise spirits during lockdown.
Alison Crosslands, Holland House Service Manager said: “Music is so important for our residents, we find it really lifts the mood of the house, brings people together and triggers social interaction between our residents and teams. Everyone enjoyed singing and dancing along.”
Unfortunately, due the current lockdown restrictions residents are unable to welcome visitors, so the Holland House team have been extra busy finding innovative ways to make the most of the beautiful weather and outdoor space.
Alison comments: “The residents loved the afternoon and have already requested that we do it again in summer with a BBQ. It was heartwarming to see our residents light up when they heard some of their favourite songs performed live!
“Antony has also kindly offered his time to perform at other services to help lift everyone’s spirits during lockdown.“
A huge thank you to Antony for donating his time and we look forward to welcoming him back!
