A Month of Activities!

Our Adamson House residents have been busy over the last couple of weeks – here are some of the activities they have been enjoying!

💇 Hair braiding for pamper day
👕 Designing T-shirts for James’s 10K run to raise money for Mind
💎 Gel nail painting with gems!
🏳️‍🌈 Painting the garden bench in PRIDE colours.

Blackpool 10K

James, our Business Administrator at Adamson House recently ran the Blackpool 10K for Mind. One of our residents designed some shirts for James to wear when running, and our Adamson House residents signed them in support.

James raised £182 for Mind – a big thank you to everyone for their donations and support!

TEA-R-N

Adamson House have created a “TEA-R-N” station, inspired by PRN “pro re nata” which translates to “as the situation demands”. The station provides our residents with a selection of herbal teas available for drinking based on what they need. There are teas to calm stress, improve digestion and even teas to detox the body.

The station is a soothing activity that residents like to relax and enjoy together.

Pre-Easter Baking

Our residents from Adamson House have been busy with some pre-Easter baking! They baked some lovely chocolate cupcakes with vanilla frosting and mini eggs.
One of our residents also personally went around to hand out a cupcake to all the residents, staff and visitors that were at the service, and the feedback received was that the cupcakes were ‘very light and fluffy’! 🍰

A spot of relaxation

Two of our team members at Adamson House in Partington led a yoga session this week. Yoga is incredibly beneficial to our overall mental health and physical wellbeing.
