Here at Northern Healthcare, we wish everyone a Merry Christmas for 2021 and hope that everyone had a lovely Christmas with family, friends, residents and colleagues.
All across our services, the beginning of December saw the Christmas decorations go up, and the Christmas feeling began!
There were some beautiful Christmas trees, sparkly bunting and homemade advent calendars…
Residents engaged in a range of Christmas activities from karaoke and dancing, to cookie baking and decoration making.
Residents at Hyde Park House made some beautiful salt dough decorations – look at them sparkle!
Residents at Glen Garth House got into the festive spirit, making homemade mince pies!
Residents from Glen Garth House went out for a Christmas meal and residents had a lovely afternoon. There were delicious roast dinners, Christmas crackers, party hats and even some dancing!
Holland House residents had a brilliant time at their Christmas Party! There was a huge selection of Christmas food, dancing and even a Christmas themed photo station.
Montgomery House residents enjoyed their Christmas meal – there were crackers, party hats and lots of delicious food!
Hyde Park House residents and staff attended a Christmas meal where a lovely afternoon was had by all. The Christmas meal was something residents decided in their monthly meetings, they planned this together with staff support.
We took part in Save the Children‘s Christmas Jumper Day, and donned our Christmas jumpers in support of a great cause.
Speaking of good causes, our fabulous Milnshaw Runners team took part in a 5k as part of Lancashire Mind’s Mental Elf event. They raised £385 which is an incredible total that will go towards helping Lancashire Mind continue the great work that they do across the county.
