Here at Northern Healthcare, we have a set of company values that are at the heart of everything we do. These are:
Positive.
Respectful.
Open and Honest.
Understanding.
Dedicated.
Alongside our company values, we also align everything we do with the 6 core values that underpin the Health and Social Care industry. Read more about the 6 core social work values here.
We launched our new company values across services with a Values Roadshow. Our directors took to the road and visited all of our services to introduce the new values. Each service was provided with their own “Proud Mailbox”, which staff and residents have personalised. Check out some of the post boxes!
(Crochet topper kindly donated by Sam’s Stitches.)
Everyone is encouraged to fill out a postcard and post it in the post box when they see our values being demonstrated. Each month we recognise a ‘Values Champion’, and share a selection of feedback received.
