Sharon lives at Radcliffe Lodge and has made huge steps in her recovery journey since joining the service in April 2021.
Sharon is 67 years old and came to Radcliffe Lodge in April 2021 following a referral from Asket House, Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Sharon is living with Paranoid Schizophrenia, and as one of the first residents to join Radcliffe Lodge, was a little unsure at first. Over time Sharon has settled into the service, and she now engages with residents and the team. She has a particularly close bond with the two fellow residents who joined Radcliffe Lodge on day one with her.
Sharon is very content at Radcliffe Lodge and her confidence has improved. She has also gained more independence. Here are some of Sharon’s key celebrations:
The team are delighted to see Sharon content and making Radcliffe Lodge her home. Sharon engages with occupational therapy when she chooses including baking and arts and crafts.
Sharon expresses that she is happy, she loves music, knitting for the premature baby unit and going shopping at the local charity shops. She also hopes to get married one day.
Sharon’s Care Coordinator has stated that the team are: “…feeling that we can now step back as Sharon is doing so well.”
