A Service Manager has an extremely varied role. You will be responsible for the day to day management of the Northern Healthcare service. You will work with and be supported by your Regional Manager and by the board, specifically the Clinical Director to oversee the service and ensure it is CQC compliant. You are responsible for resident assessment and support planning, building maintenance and improvements, compliance and health and safety, team management, morale and support, recruitment, safe staffing, audits, tenancy agreement compliance, financial management and stakeholder management.
A vast role but helping you to achieve all this you will have a central support team at Head Office, and you will always have a dedicated and ambitious clinical and support team around you.
Our Service Managers are truly the key to providing outstanding support to our residents and driving improvements across all services. Ideally you will be an RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse) or Occupational Therapist with leadership experience in a similar setting.
If you are a people person with excellent communication skills, you will thrive in this role. Our Service Managers develop long-lasting working partnerships within the communities they serve to identify opportunities for service enhancement and promote a better understanding of mental health conditions. Families and friends also play a crucial role in the support network for our residents and you will help to rebuild these connections.
